Hi! I’m Beck! I’m a Florida-born Southern gal, clinging to my roots while navigating big city living in SoCal.
I’ve dabbled in a few things. I’m an Air Force veteran, former government contractor, hold degrees in Middle Eastern Studies (B.A.) and Organizational Leadership (M.A.), and worked as a photographer. I finally landed in graphic design, accidentally, and now I spend my days lettering alphabets, programming fonts, and overseeing operations of my little family-based graphic design company.
Font design is something I always thought would be cool to learn…and well, now, I’m making a living doing it. I literally draw letters for a living, and that is badass.
When I’m not makin’ stuff, you can find me at home with my family. My husband, Jeff, has been my biggest support in this journey, encouraging me to always “do the thing.” We’ve got five kids between the two of us, ranging in age from 13 to 20, and we also have a Husky pup named Boogie that keeps us entertained.
Me in a nutshell? I love:
– fonts, flowers, my family
– calligraphy, coffee, chocolate, charcuterie boards
– wine, whiskey, watercolor art
– travel, typography, tattoos
– beer, beautiful brands, and bees
