Education was always huge when I was a kid. It was back in the day (on some days, it really feels like waaay back in the day) when people thought that degrees were necessary to be successful. No doubt, in many professions, it is a requirement and something that is appreciated… These days, degrees aren’t really necessary, and I think there’s a huge resurgence in trade skills and vocational training, but I digress!
Education and doing well in school was something that my parents emphasized heavily, and as a result, it seemed to be a given that I would obtain a degree. I talk a bit about my experiences & how I ended up in the field that I’m in, along with my educational experiences here. I won’t bore y’all with the lengthy details that I bored the ALP readers with. This post is merely my little, “Toot-toot! I did it!” as it relates to obtaining my bachelor’s & master’s degrees, along with *some* photographic evidence. Check!
