Introducing She Sells Seashells, a simple cursive font. She Sells Seashells is easy to read, and features some ligatures and simple end forms for each letter.
Inspiration & Process
She Sells Seashells was my initial script font release. I wanted to start small with a simple font that didn’t have an overwhelming amount of bells & whistles so that I could explore programming a cursive font. Once I got the hang of it, I figured out that it wasn’t as difficult as I expected it to be!
Naming this font was fun — it has a very casual feel to it, which I always liken to growing up on the beach. Scouring the beach for shells was always something that I enjoyed as a child, a teenager, and now as an adult. It seemed like the perfect fit!
